We provide shadow-teaching support for students with a wide range of learning difficulties to ensure that the student is given opportunities to be independent.
Many schools employ shadow teachers to integrate students with special or learning needs successfully. We will assess your child's needs and develop an effective plan for working in their classroom as a team with their current teacher.
Our Objectives
Empower the child to become increasingly more functional - emotionally, socially, behaviorally, and academically.
Their role is not to do the work for the child but to help the child become increasingly more autonomous in the classroom.
Our ultimate goal is for a child not to need a shadow and to have a clear plan of when fading should occur.
What does a Shadow Support Specialist Do?

2. Assisting students in completing classwork whenever necessary.
3. Equipping the student with strategies to independently manage and cope in various settings.
4. Providing regular updates to parents/school and the case manager on the child's progress.
